How dropshipping works

List the product
Choose the products you want to sell from the Minglai catalogue and add your own retail selling price.

Your customer places an order
Your customer purchases the product through your online store and pays you.

You place the order with Minglai
You purchase the product from Minglai at the applicable supplier price, plus the R50 dropshipping fee.

Minglai fulfils the order
Minglai prepares the order and ships it directly to your customer.

Your customer receives the product
The customer receives their order without you needing to purchase or store inventory yourself.

You keep the difference
Your gross profit is the difference between your customer’s purchase price and your total supplier and fulfilment costs.

- Customer pays: R1,499
- Minglai sneaker cost: R900
- Dropshipping fee: R50
- Estimated gross profit: R549
This is before payment-processing fees, advertising costs, refunds, platform fees and any other business expenses.
